Discover transformative experiences for integral well-being

We provide services in person or online worldwide, in Portuguese, Dutch or English. We offer online treatment as an alternative or addition to in-person sessions. You can connect from home through a secure, GDPR-compliant video platform that we provide. Online treatment may include video sessions, digital questionnaires, or blended care (a mix of online and face-to-face appointments). Together, we decide whether this fits your needs and treatment goals. Online care is flexible and accessible, but not suitable in every situation. If online treatment isn’t the best option, we will discuss alternatives.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT promotes a shift in how you relate to your thoughts and emotions. Rooted in functional contextualism, it teaches that the function of your internal experiences is more important than their form, as they aren't problems in themselves. Rather than trying to eliminate these feelings, ACT encourages acceptance, cognitive defusion, and mindfulness, all aligned with your personal values. By changing your relationship with these experiences, it helps you build a flexible and effective repertoire of responses, enhancing psychological flexibility to face life's challenges with resilience and balance.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you identify and modify dysfunctional thought and behavior patterns that contribute to emotional distress. Based on cognitive and behavioral principles, CBT uses structured, goal-oriented techniques to support you in developing adaptive coping strategies for challenges like anxiety, depression, stress, and other psychological difficulties. At our clinic, CBT is personalized to meet your specific needs, using proven methods to promote cognitive restructuring, behavioral change, and long-term well-being.

Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy is recommended when you and your partner are struggling to resolve conflicts or when the relationship no longer provides growth and well-being for both of you. Our approach begins with the goals and challenges you bring, focusing on strengthening your ability to solve problems and conflicts together, always respecting each person's individuality. The goal is to strengthen the relationship, improve communication, and foster mutual understanding, creating a solid foundation for a more balanced and fulfilling partnership.

EMDR

EMDR

EMDR is a therapeutic approach that mirrors natural brain processes, similar to what happens during sleep in the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) phase. Based on sound physiological principles, this therapy helps you address trauma in a healthier way, easing the symptoms and distress these experiences often cause. By guiding you through eye movements while recalling traumatic memories, EMDR effectively reduces the impact of these events on your daily life, helping you regain emotional balance.

Family Therapy

Family Therapy

Family therapy aims to improve communication and interaction among family members, addressing issues collaboratively. It considers the broader context of each individual (family, school, work), based on the principle that changes in one member affect the whole. Sessions may involve all family members or just some, depending on the situation. It is effective for conflicts, crises, relationship difficulties, and behavioral issues.

Group Therapy

Group Therapy

Group therapy allows you to share your difficulties and experiences with others, helping to normalize symptoms and create a supportive environment. By participating, you’ll have the opportunity to address your challenges together with others, offering mutual support along the way. It also helps you feel a sense of belonging, reducing isolation and the stigma often associated with mental health struggles, while fostering personal growth through connection with others.

Schema Therapy

Schema Therapy

Schema therapy helps you identify and change deep-rooted patterns of thinking and behavior that may be affecting your emotions and These patterns, known as maladaptive schemas, often develop in childhood due to unmet emotional needs or a lack of boundaries. Through a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalysis, and Gestalt therapy, this approach guides you in understanding these patterns and developing healthier ways to cope and thrive.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic Therapy explores how unconscious mental processes, shaped during childhood, influence adult behavior. By examining early experiences and relationships, therapy helps individuals recognize outdated defense mechanisms and adopt healthier coping strategies. This process leads to greater self-awareness, emotional well-being, and more effective relationships, enhancing quality of life.

e-Health

e-Health

We offer e-health as part of our treatment. You and your therapist decide together whether e-health fits your situation, goals, and preferences. It is used alongside face-to-face or online sessions (blended care): you practise skills at home, and you and your therapist review your progress and adjust the approach during appointments. At our clinic, we work with Therapieland, which offers its modules in English.

Treatment Structure

Our approach – personal care tailored to you. Are you looking for professional help in a safe, calm, and engaging environment? For us, the focus is on you as a person. We take the time to listen carefully to your story and, together, we look for a treatment that suits your complaints, wishes, and goals. Do you have any questions or would you like to talk to us first? You can always call us or send us an email for more information.

1. Registration

You reach out to us to start treatment, and our admin team will help you every step of the way. To register, you’ll need a referral letter from your GP (including a suspected DSM-5 classification). Once we’ve received all the documentation, we’ll schedule an intake appointment with the right clinic director so you can get started.

2. The initial interview

The first conversations are dedicated to getting to know each other and deepening our understanding. We discuss your complaints, but mainly what you would like to change in your life. Together, we identify what you would like to work on and what treatment options are appropriate. A good collaboration begins with good rapport. That is why we always discuss whether you feel comfortable with the therapist and with our way of working. If it turns out that our care does not meet your needs, we will work with you to find a suitable solution, either within or outside our office.

3. Working together for recovery

In consultation with you, we will draw up a personal treatment plan. This plan includes your goals and how we will work to achieve them. Your treatment will be as short as possible and as long as necessary. Appointments are always scheduled in consultation with you. If you wish, these can also be conducted via video call.

4. Engage your environment

Would you like to involve a partner, family member, or other loved one in your treatment? That is possible. It often helps to bring someone along to an appointment. This is always arranged together.

5. Regular evaluation

We believe it is important that you feel the treatment is having an effect. That is why we conduct regular joint assessments:

● Are your symptoms decreasing?

● Are we working on the right goals?

● Do you find the treatment useful and appropriate?

We use short questionnaires for this purpose. It goes without saying that we treat your data with care and confidentiality.

6. Conclusion and follow-up: moving forward with confidence

Your treatment lasts as little as possible and as long as necessary. By evaluating together, we know when you have received enough help to continue independently or when additional support is desirable. In the final conversation, we look to the future. You will receive a relapse prevention plan with guidelines for the future.
